We’re passionate at OhioHealth about educating the next leaders in the healthcare industry.
OhioHealth medical education provides opportunities to experience excellent training in both rural and urban medicine. The majority of our programs are located in the heart of Columbus, Ohio, the 15th largest city in the U.S., yet we also offer programs in suburban Dublin as well as nearby rural Athens. All of our programs offer unique training experiences.
Live and Learn
At OhioHealth, you can craft your medical educational experience around your interests, with residency and fellowship opportunities in rural and urban communities, advanced practice provider clinical experiences, internships and undergraduate rotations. We make sure your program is a perfect fit, and provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Columbus, Ohio, is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, while still maintaining one of the best commutes in the country. We get high ranks for quality of life (globally!) and are a magnet for young professionals. However long you stay, it’ll feel like home.
When you’re off the clock, you’re only minutes away from all the cultural and natural wonders Ohio has to offer. From Broadway shows to backpacking trails, Ohio has it all. And because of the strong bonds our residents and fellows build during training, we wouldn’t be surprised if you’re seeing the sights with the same people you see in scrubs.
Your residency or fellowship will be based at one of our five training hospitals: Doctors Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, O’Bleness Hospital and Riverside Methodist Hospital. Many of our programs also offer rotation opportunities at our other seven hospitals. This exposes our residents and fellows to a variety of clinical scenarios, in both urban and rural communities.
Take some time to explore the residencies or fellowships you’re interested in. And ask any questions you have – we’re happy to answer them.
