Why Choose Emergency Medicine at Doctors Hospital
Our residency program is designed to bring you up to speed smoothly, while learning from the best minds in the field.
An Independent Practice Environment with Diverse Pathology
Our program offers a well-rounded training experience that prepares you for a lifelong career in emergency medicine.
Our curriculum includes on-site focused procedure labs, clinical immersion, and virtual reality technology centered around patient care, communication skills and teambuilding.
Our primary site, Doctors Hospital, provides a high-volume, robust community clinical experience. We augment this with training at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, a Level I trauma center, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, a tertiary pediatric referral center. In addition, our residents receive high-acuity critical care exposure in various settings, such as the neurocritical care unit and medical intensive care unit at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.

In addition, funding is available to attend regional and national conferences.
