Global medicine is my passion, and I plan to spend my career working in international healthcare and public health.
Reason for Residency
Grant is more committed to full-spectrum Family Medicine than any other program I've experienced, and I truly believe that will receive the best clinical education here. You get the best of both worlds here - an unopposed FM program while still working at a major medical center with a diverse patient population. It's a "jump in the deep end, get our hands dirty" kind of place that I loved. I knew this was the place for me when Dr. Ramirez scolded me gently on Clin Med for suggesting that we consult GI for a paracentesis.
