About Grant Medical Center

World-Class Healthcare in Downtown Columbus

OhioHealth Grant Medical Center has been providing quality medical care to the central Ohio community for more than a century. With a wide variety of specialty treatments available and top notch emergency care, we are able to treat a full range of medical conditions.

OhioHealth Grant Medical Center's rich history began in downtown Columbus when it was founded in 1900 by world-renowned surgeon, Dr. James F. Baldwin. Grant has grown into one of the top hospitals in Columbus and the U.S, as well as Ohio’s busiest Level I Trauma Center. We are recognized nationally for trauma care, orthopedics, heart and vascular care, neurosciences and robotic and minimally invasive surgery services.

We are also home to the Center for Blood Conservation (a bloodless surgery and medicine program), a human donor milk bank for premature infants in need and a nurse anesthesia training program.
