Welcome to the Riverside Family Medicine Residency!  I invite you to browse through our website to gain a better understanding of the Riverside Family Medicine Residency and how we might fit into your educational and career training goals.

We offer 6 positions each year to qualified MD and DO graduates.  We have a reputation for educational excellence.  We have had 100% board pass rate for over 20 years.  Our residents are top graduates from a variety of medical schools.

Our faculty is actively involved in academic pursuits, including clinical research, journal publication and presentations at national meetings.

In addition to our residency program, we also have a Sports Medicine Fellowship and a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. .

Our Family Medicine Center is located next to the Riverside Methodist Hospital. This is convenient for patient care both ambulatory and inpatient, educational conferences and keeping in contact with fellow residents.

We have a state of the art facility that is equipped with an electronic medical record. We do many procedures in the office including skin biopsies, joint injections, and many gynecologic procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon placement and endometrial biopsies and colposcopy.

We also have access to the Center for Medical Education and Innovation. This facility was one of the first in the nation to incorporate simulation into the curriculum of all the residencies. The Family Medicine Residency has an 18 month longitudinal simulation curriculum.

Of course, the best way to meet and get to know us at Riverside Methodist Hospital is to come for an interview, a rotation or just a day visit.  We look forward to being a part of your future career in Family Medicine.
