Management, we'll be with you every step of the way, helping you

Your First Appointments
During your initial, intake appointments, we'll gather important
information to ensure a safe weight loss journey for you. You
will meet with:
- A clinician for blood work, EKG and BOD POD body fat
- A physician for a health history and physical exam
- A psychologist to discuss the emotional challenges that come
with making this big change
- A dietitian to review your typical daily meals and eating
habits; and to develop your weight loss diet plan
- An exercise physiologist to discuss an exercise plan
We'll work closely with you to determine which diet plan ‒
either the Low Calorie Diet (LCD) or the Very Low Calorie Diet
(VLCD) ‒ fits your lifestyle, health condition and needs.
How We Monitor Your Health and Weight Loss
Once you start your journey, you will have weekly weigh-ins and
blood pressure checks. You may also have EKG monitoring and
repeat blood work on a schedule determined by your diet plan. Your health status and weight-loss progress will be reviewed during
your physician appointment.
Throughout your journey, the opportunity is available to
continue to meet one-on-one with our dietitian, psychologist and
exercise physiologist after the initial intake appointments.
Weekly Classes Shape Your New, Healthy
In order to achieve long-term success with significant weight
loss, you will make changes that incorporate healthy choices into
your daily life. That's why our medical weight-loss program
includes classes about diet, stress management, exercise and other
topics - so we can help you make this important transition and
apply what you learn to your life.
Our classes offer not just information, however. They also are a
place to receive compassion, encouragement and support.
After Your Success: Our Weight Maintenance
Once you've reached your goal weight, we recommend you join our
weight maintenance program. It includes weight monitoring,
classes and continued counseling from our dietitians, psychologists
and exercise physiologists. We focus on the lifestyle habits that
have been shown to keep weight off.
We know how hard it is to lose weight. We also know keeping it
off takes sustained healthy habits with diet and exercise – and
sometimes that's just as hard, if not harder.
