Meet Chris Clinton
President, OhioHealth Regional Market
Chris Clinton, MHA, is senior vice president and president of OhioHealth Regional Markets. He has operational and strategic accountability for nine hospitals across Ohio: OhioHealth Berger Hospital, OhioHealth Hardin Hospital, OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital OhioHealth Marion General Hospital, OhioHealth Morrow County Hospital, OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital, OhioHealth Shelby Hospital, OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center and OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital.
In this role, Chris leads market financial and Balance Scorecard performance, as well as growth and access strategies. He partners with physician and clinical leaders to strengthen local execution and drive consistent performance across markets.
Chris joined OhioHealth in 2013 as vice president of Neuroscience, Heart and Vascular at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. He later served as vice president of Enterprise Shared Services, with responsibility for a broad portfolio including Ambulatory Imaging, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Rehabilitation Services, Support Services, Supply Chain, Sterile Processing and Food and Nutrition Services.
Prior to OhioHealth, Chris was administrative director of Surgical Operations at Cleveland Clinic, where he led strategic and operational initiatives across a large, academic surgery division. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in surgical and clinical operations at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System in Savannah, Georgia.
Chris holds a Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University.
He lives in Dublin, Ohio, with his wife and three children.
