We recognize that being away from home can be tough — whether you're a patient or a visitor. When you choose OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital to care for you or a loved one, you can rest assured that experienced providers are on your side in a facility with extensive amenities and accommodations.

Parking at Van Wert Hospital: Free surface parking adjacent to the main entrance is available for all our patients and visitors.

Visiting hours

We believe in the importance of family and friends to a patient’s recovery. Visitors are welcome from 8 AM to 8 PM. All visitors must check in at the front desk.

Amenities and accommodations

We strive to make your experience as convenient as possible at Van Wert Hospital. Everything you need is within reach.

  • PATIENT MEALS - The hospital cafeteria is located on the east end of the first floor. Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM

  • VENDING MACHINES - Located throughout the hospital

  • SHOPPING AND GIFTS - Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. To speak with someone at the Gift Shop, call (419) 238-2390.
