Program overview

  • A one-year fellowship in a state-of-the-art sports medicine center that cares for community, school-aged, college and professional athletes
  • Unique exposure to pediatric sports medicine in a dedicated pediatric sports medicine center that is run by a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician, who is also one of our Family Medicine faculty
  • Act as a team physician for local high schools
  • Opportunities to participate in mass events medical coverage (Columbus Marathon and Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure)
  • Monthly sports medicine lectures given by a fellowhip-trained sports medicine physician
  • Bi-monthly sports medicine journal club
  • Casting/splinting workshop and joint injection workshop
  • Opportunities for publication in sports medicine journals
