SCHOLARLY ACTIVITIES

During your residency, you’re encouraged to explore areas of interest and contribute to the field by participating in varied scholarly activities.

Articles and studies by our residents routinely appear in leading peer-reviewed journals and medical publications. Examples of previous studies range from evaluation of preterm labor and delivery to surgical therapies, post-operative care, patient safety and quality-improvement initiatives.

You may investigate fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology — including rare tumor diagnosis and treatment – cesarean section and other procedures. Residents have evaluated how telemedicine and other technologies can improve labor and delivery safety. Other areas of study have included resident wellness.

You’ll also deliver exceptional podium presentations and develop resourceful educational modules for professional associations.
