It's worth getting to know us
Medical education has been an integral part of OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital since the opening of our earliest precursor hospital, Protestant Hospital, in 1892. Today Riverside has grown to one of the busiest hospitals in the country with more than 44,000 admissions, 88,000 Emergency Department (ED) visits, 12,000 inpatient surgeries and 6,000 deliveries a year. We have the volume, depth and breadth of experiences for our students, residents and fellows to become outstanding physicians in their chosen fields.
Columbus, the 15th largest city in the U.S., is a great place to live and work. It is an innovative city, in part due to the many colleges and universities, and there are activities for everyone, including major league sports, top-notch arts and entertainment, and outstanding restaurants.
At Riverside Medical Education we believe in continuous improvement and excellence. We are committed to providing the best possible experience for our trainees. We hope that you will look more closely at our programs and consider joining us.
