We understand that a cancer diagnosis affects not only the physical but also emotional stability of patients throughout their survivorship. That's why Riverside Cancer Services established Cancer Connections in Columbus, Ohio.

The Cancer Connections program, supported by the OhioHealth Foundation, provides patients and their families access to all the information and resources they need to successfully manage their care, restore their sense of well being and overcome the challenges of living with a cancer diagnosis. This includes connecting patients and their families with cancer support groups in the central Ohio region.

Central to the Cancer Connections program is a team of Patient Navigators who engage one-on-one with our patients and their families to explain their diagnosis and whatever procedures and treatments they may be undergoing.

Available to our Patient Navigators are resources necessary to assist our patients throughout their survivorship, including:

  • complementary therapy and integrative medicine
  • wellness programs, such as diet and exercise classes
  • social services that provide psychosocial and/or financial support

Patients wanting to speak with a Patient Navigator about cancer support groups and other resources provided by Cancer Connections may do so by calling (614) 566.4321 or 1 (800) 752.9119 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
