When Marilyn’s husband was brought to OhioHealth Kobacker House, it was a blessing to see that the Hospice team could immediately provide the care he needed to be comfortable. A strong believer in first impressions, Marilyn was amazed by the support and comfort hospice provided her. She benefitted from coming to the bereavement programs at Kobacker House, a place where she didn’t have to worry about anyone else and felt at home. Participating in art therapy and journaling programs once or twice a week gave her mind peace, even if just for an hour.
