Sean Huffman was appointed president of OhioHealth Neighborhood Care in July 2012. With more than 1,200 associates and more than 46 locations, OhioHealth Neighborhood Care provides outpatient services for the OhioHealth system. In this role, he leads the strategic development and ongoing growth of the outpatient division while overseeing the ambulatory operations.
Mr. Huffman, a licensed physical therapist and athletic trainer, joined the OhioHealth Neighborhood Care family in 2005, initially serving as the director of rehabilitation and then as vice president of clinical operations.
In addition to his experience at OhioHealth, Mr. Huffman has held many leadership positions, including senior vice president during his 15 years at HealthSouth and was founder and president of Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Huffman holds a bachelor’s degree in Allied Medical Professions (Physical Therapy) from The Ohio State University, is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from Oklahoma State University.
He resides in Delaware, Ohio with his wife and their son and three daughters. Sean is an Athletic Council member advising the Olentangy Local Schools superintendent on current affairs, lector for Sunday Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and endurance runner, having completed 22 marathons during the last five years.
