Medical Education

OhioHealth Grant Medical Center is a member of OhioHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit family of leading healthcare providers who share the mission: “to improve the health of those we serve.” Serving patients since 1900, the 645-bed acute-care tertiary hospital is comprised of more than 2,700 associates, including more than 1,100 registered nurses, plus a medical staff of more than 935 credentialed physicians who deliver advanced healthcare to more than 21,000 inpatients and 260,000 outpatients each year.

Grant is a regional-destination hospital in downtown Columbus, Ohio, offering a full range of services, including emergency services, critical care, intermediate care and medical/surgical services. Grant is home to one of the state’s busiest Level I Trauma Centers and a number of top specialties, including orthopedics, cardiology and women’s health. Grant is home to the Center for Blood Conservation (a bloodless surgery and medicine program), a human donor milk bank for premature infants in need and a nurse anesthesia training program. Grant treats patients from well beyond central Ohio and from outside the state. In total, our patients came to Grant from 46 states in Fiscal Year 2013.

We’re passionate about educating the next leaders in the healthcare industry at OhioHealth, and we encourage you to look into our various medical programs.
