Michael Yaffe, MD
Medical Director, McConnell Executive Health & Wellness

Dr. Yaffe is the Medical Director of the McConnell Executive Health & Wellness Program. He is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Yaffe has been a practicing physician in internal medicine for 26 years in Columbus before joining the McConnell Center, focusing on preventive health, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. He's been recognized as a Top Rated Central Ohio Family Doctor and one of the Ten Top-Rated Central Ohio Internists, and he's held a clinical faculty position in internal medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine since 1983.

Dr. Yaffe completed undergraduate work and medical school at The Ohio State University and his residency/internship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and Riverside Methodist hospitals, respectively.  He offers extensive experience with a commitment to excellence that has led to recognition as one of the Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Jason Dapore is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician, providing comprehensive, non-operative solutions for acute sports injuries. He serves as an official healthcare provider for the Columbus Blue Jackets and Upper Arlington High School. Dr. Dapore received his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at OhioHealth's Doctors Hospital Family Practice program and completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Ohio State University. Also, in 2010, Dr. Dapore was appointed as a member for the following boards & commissions: Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board.

John W. Diehl, MD

Dr. John Diehl is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician specializing in sports medicine and musculoskeletal issues. He offers the latest non-surgical treatments for sports injuries and other problems of the bones, muscles and joints. A 2004 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Diehl received both his residency training and his sports medicine fellowship training at Bethesda Family Medicine in Cincinnati. He is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine.

Sally Ann Davidson

Sally Ann graduated from The Medical College of Ohio in 1998 with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and completed her Masters in Health Science from University of Indianapolis in 2003. She specializes in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine therapy. Sally Ann is a co-Center Coordinator of Clinical Education and an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) credentialed clinical instructor.

Ryan Goodman

Ryan Goodman

Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Wright State University in 2003 and completed his Master of Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University in 2005. He is functional movement screen certified and specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and sports medicine conditions. When asked what he loves most about his job, Ryan responded, “helping people understand complex anatomy/physiology to bring comfort and how physical therapy interventions will help them achieve their goals.”

Ruth Goldberg, Ph.D.

Dr. Goldberg is a McConnell Heart Health Center staff psychologist. She specializes in behavioral health as it relates to physical health and wellness. She received a bachelor's degree from the College of New Jersey and Ph.D. in Psychology from The Ohio State University. She completed her internship at Ohio State's Counseling Center and residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Ruth provides individual, couples and group counseling and therapy as well as behavioral health consultations and educational classes.
