At the Riverside Methodist Women's Center we offer:
- Maternity Care
Riverside Methodist Hospital is a Level III Maternity Center, which provides the highest level of labor and delivery care possible, as determined by the Ohio Department of Health. We have a board-certified obstetrician and neonatologist on-site around the clock.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Level III Nursery at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, owned and operated by Nationwide Children's Hospital, offers your baby the world-class neonatal expertise of Nationwide Children's Hospital and its specialists within the walls of Riverside Methodist.
The Women’s Center provides direct access to the Yellow elevators, leading to Labor and Delivery.
- Maternal Fetal Medicine
OhioHealth Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians is a comprehensive perinatal diagnostic center. It is staffed with a highly trained, understanding and experienced team of ultrasound technologists, nurse clinicians, genetic counselors and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists (perinatologists) providing advanced training and personalized care for high-risk and complicated pregnancies.
Our state-of-the-art services include:
- Advanced diagnostics utilizing state-of-the-art 3-D/4-D ultrasound technology
- Amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
- Antepartum fetal testing
- Percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS) and fetal blood transfusions
- Fetal echocardiography with on-site pediatric cardiologist
- First Trimester Screen (Ultra-Screen®), and Second Trimester Modified Sequential screening (Ultra-Screen® Two), including Instant Risk Assessment and Cell Free DNA
- Genetic and pre-pregnancy counseling
- Medical consultations and obstetric co-management
- Comprehensive diabetic management program

- Women’s Boutique in the Riverside Women’s Center
Our lactation professionals specialize in breastfeeding and are international, board-certified lactation consultants. No matter where you delivered your baby, our lactation consultants can help you if you have questions or need assistance learning to breastfeed your baby.
At the Riverside Methodist Women’s Boutique offer:
- Consultations with our certified lactation consultants.

- Free Baby Weigh Station
- Free Breastfeeding Support Group offered every Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

- Breastfeeding Preparation Classes for mother and her support person
