Coordinates efforts with community partners to help promote the OhioHealth mission with an emphasis on children's health issues in the Marion area. Fundraising efforts include uniform sales, private and corporate donations.
This group provides an important service by donating supplies to obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency department imaging and others. They purchase and distribute toys to our youngest patients; provide Memory Boxes for mothers who have suffered the loss of a newborn and more.
The funds raised through the operation of the hospital Gift Shop are used to purchase equipment and help in various remodeling efforts.
This group sponsors the annual Carmen Morbitt Memorial Hit a Ball for Hospice golf outing, Remembrance Trees during December, and Cupcake Wars in February. Funds raised are used to help support Marion General Hospice patients and their families.
This group supports the hospital through a semi-annual book sale. Their generous donations help to provide support for various hospital functions, including our Forensic Nurse Team, and providing flowers for the LPN and paramedic graduates at Tri-Rivers Vocational School.
This group's primary function is to provide and maintain the beautiful rose beds that surround the hospital. Funds are raised through the coordination of flower sales each year and a Spring Garden Fair.
This volunteer group operates the gift shop on the Marion Medical Campus and offers hours in the surgery lounge and at the reception desk. Their main focus is through cardiac and pulmonary services, but they also provide funds in other areas as identified.
Our Teen Volunteer Program is conducted only in the summer. Junior and Senior high school students who are interested in a career in health care may download and submit the Teen Volunteer Application.
