Visiting Hours at Marion General

We understand the importance of family and friends to a patient's recovery. Families should speak to the patient's nurse to determine the most appropriate visitation schedule.

Welcome Guide for Patients and Families

Tobacco-free Environment

Tobacco use is not permitted inside or outside any OhioHealth property. If you must use tobacco, please do so off OhioHealth premises.

Smoking is not permitted inside or outside Marion General, or any other OhioHealth hospital.

Pastoral Care and Chapel Hours

The Chapel and Meditation Room are located on the second floor between the intensive care unit and the surgery waiting area. The Chapel and Meditation Room are open 24 hours for personal prayer or quiet time.

We have access to members from various religions to provide spiritual help to you and your family. To contact a hospital chaplain, ask your nurse or call (740) 383.8400 or “0” from your room, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On-call chaplains are available 24 hours a day by dialing “0.”

Housekeeping and Environmental Services

Housekeeping is about more than just cleanliness, it’s our opportunity to make a first and lasting impression during your visit. Comfort and safety are a significant part of your healthcare. Your room will be cleaned daily throughout your stay. Please speak with your healthcare provider if you have any questions or concerns.
