Our team at Hardin Memorial Hospital understands the value of family and friends to a patient's recovery. Ensuring all patients and visitors have a healthy and positive experience at our facility is important to us, and we strive to provide a measure of calm during what can be a stressful moment.
We understand the importance of family and friends to a patient's recovery. Visiting hours may vary for some units based on the patient's condition and needs.
Families should speak to the patient's nurse to determine the most appropriate visitation schedule. Children are permitted as visitors but must be under adult supervision at all times.
It is critical that the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) staff has complete access to the patient and certain visiting hours may be enforced. Visiting hours may also change at the nurses' discretion. Please call (419) 675-8357 for the visiting hours of the day.
Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed in the ICU. In certain situations, the nurse may allow a short visit by a young child. This is to protect both the patients and the child from infection and/or injury.
Tobacco use is not permitted inside or outside any OhioHealth property. If you must use tobacco, please do so off OhioHealth premises.
We encourage you to leave valuables (jewelry, money, credit cards, checkbooks or anything else of value) at home or with a family member.
People in the hospital are more susceptible to infection. To help us prevent the spread of germs and infection, please:
For questions about infection or isolation, call the Infection Control Department at (419) 675-8322.
