Blood Pressure Screening O'Bleness Hospital offers free blood pressure screenings to the public on the first Wednesday of each month in the lobby of the hospital's Cornwell Entrance. No registration necessary.

Delay the Disease: Parkinson's Fitness (Gerlach)Two levels of class options are offered weekly (at this location) for this evidence-based group fitness program designed for people living with Parkinson's Disease. Diabetes Maintenance GroupSupport for adults with Type 1 and 2 diabetes and their family members through discussions and speakers. The group meets six times per year, every other month, from 7 to 8 p.m.

Engage: Small Steps Diabetes - Cooking MattersFollowing our Diabetes series we have added a six-week, hands-on cooking program that teaches participants how to prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks on a limited budget.  Prerequisite: Must have attended Small Steps Diabetes Management and Control classes.

Gestational Diabetes EducationPatients and their families can arrange two, one-hour appointments with a certified diabetes educator nurse and dietitian for self-management of gestational diabetes. Requires referral from your physician and is covered by most insurance companies.

Living Well With DiabetesOne day class for people with diabetes and their families. Program covers basic nutrition, glucose monitoring, hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, meal planning and medications. Bring a snack. Lunch not provided.
