Elizabeth Blackwell Center Service Board (RMH Service Board I)

The Elizabeth Blackwell Center (EBC) Service Board raises awareness and fundraises to support the Elizabeth Blackwell Center’s education and wellness programs. Since 2001, they have raised nearly $110,000 for the EBC. In November, the EBC Service Board hosts the Evening of Relaxation event for over 200 guests to receive spa services, bid at a silent auction and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and deserts.

Paula Huck Memorial Service Board (RMH Service Board II)

Founded in 2002, the Paula Huck Memorial Service Board is dedicated to supporting the early detection and treatment of breast cancer at Riverside Methodist.  The service board was started by a dedicated group of friends and colleagues of Paula Huck, who lost her life to breast cancer in April, 2001.  Paula was a 20 year veteran at JP Morgan Chase as well as a devoted mother, wife, friend, co-worker and employee.

RMH Service Board III (Nursing Scholarships)

Women's Service Board III was formed in 1985 with Mrs. Phillip Taylor (Susie) serving as their first chairman. They began with five members, wives of Riverside Methodist Hospital physicians and grew to 12 members by March of 1986. This Board of 21 members gathers at their annual luncheon and gives $4,000 each year to the Riverside Methodist Nursing Scholarship Fund.

Riverside Methodist Oncology Service Board (RMH Service Board V)

The Riverside Methodist Oncology Service Board was established in 1987 and has been providing funding support to various priority projects of Riverside Methodist for more than two decades. Our service board is dedicated to supporting the work and philosophy of Riverside Methodist cancer services by supporting cancer patients and their families. All Oncology Service Board members are active hospital volunteers who serve a monthly “High Tea” offering cancer patients, their families and visitors an afternoon of tea, delightful pastries, music and socializing.

Kitchen Kapers (RMH Service Board VII)

Kitchen Kapers is proud to support Riverside Methodist Hospital Cancer Services and the Artist in Residence program. Their 60 dedicated members have hosted the annual Kitchen Kapers event – a tour of remodeled kitchens in Upper Arlington and the surrounding area – since 1987! In those 24 years, they have raised over $400,000 to support various programs and services for Riverside Cancer Services.

Riverside Methodist Sewing Guild

This group of over 250 women lovingly sews, knits and crochets items for our patients at Riverside Methodist. Volunteers can choose to sew together at the hospital or in the comfort of their own homes. Members also donate sewing supplies to the group throughout the year.

Women’s Service Board of Grant Medical Center

Founded in 1956, the Grant Women’s Service Board supports Grant Medical Center through fundraising and volunteer activities. Since their inception, the service board has donated nearly $2 million to support programs and services that benefit Grant’s patients and families. Each year, the Grant Women’s Service Board hosts the Candy Cane Charity Ball, a black-tie affair, as well as the Serendipity Luncheon and Style Show.
