The result: OhioHealth launched our consumer-directed OhioHealthy medical benefit plan, aligning financial incentives to reward our associates for assessing their health and proactively making choices to improve it and prevent disease.
With extensive physician and associate engagement, OhioHealthy has produced tangible health benefits and kept premiums unchanged for five consecutive years. Our associates’ accountability for their own health has increased.
