How to Apply
Applicants must be certain they meet the requirements for the program for which they are applying and submit their completed application nine to 12 months before the program's start date. Given the limited number of positions available in most CPE programs, we encourage applicants to apply to multiple programs.
The CPE application requires you to complete several in-depth personal essays, provide any previous CPE final evaluations, write potential learning goals and share a description of a helping incident in verbatim form, if you have any previous CPE experience. You will also be required to pay a $25 application fee. Our offices will be in touch with you regarding how to pay the fee at a later time.

Applicants who meet our criteria will be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview with members of the CPE Program. Applicants are responsible for their own travel, food and lodging accommodations.
We do not offer scholarships for our CPE programs; however, scholarships are sometimes available from faith group entities. Applicants interested in available scholarships should contact a representative from their faith group.
