Adult counseling services are available at the EBC to help assist with a wide range of concerns and issues that mid-life or any other life stage may challenge you.

Breastfeeding Helpline:  (614) 566.3434
Lactation nurses who can address your concerns regarding breastfeeding and weaning are available for individual consultations. The breastfeeding line is monitored over the weekend to address ‘crisis’ calls.

We know you may also want to make a commitment to a healthy lifestyle so we offer classes on menopause, osteoporosis, hormone replacement therapy, exercise, nutrition, cardiovascular, emotional and spiritual health, and other topics of interest to the mid-life woman.

Our licensed massage therapists offer 30, 60 and 90-minute sessions in an array of massage modalities that include; Swedish, Cranio-Sacral, Prenatal and Postpartum Massage Services, Neuromuscular / Trigger Point and Deep Tissue massage.

Based on the practice of mindfulness, the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program is designed to relieve stress-related symptoms and enhance well-being and peace of mind.

Parenting programs at the EBC are designed to provide knowledge and confidence you can count on to meet the unique challenges of your family. Learn conversational skills and forward thinking that improves the communication level and social development of everyone in the family; you as an individual and as a parent, as well as your children.

Physical Awareness
Through movement and massage, you'll discover a greater self-awareness and confidence, and you'll feel better than ever. To get you started we offer various classes such as Tai Chi, Yoga, meditation, and Pilates.

Visit the Women's Boutique located in the Women's Center at Riverside

For new moms, we offer baby weigh stations and lactation consultations with board-certified Lactation Nurses, and our boutique stocks a wide selection of breast pumps, nursing bras, nursing pillows and other breastfeeding supplies. You'll also find Jobst SupportWear® stockings, pampering skin care products, unique jewelry and other intriguing items.

Please note:  The Women's Boutique is NOT at the Elizabeth Blackwell Center, but is located across the road at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
