In his position as OhioHealth's vice president of Mission and Ministry, Rev. Keith Vesper provides executive leadership for West Ohio Conference relations, pastoral care and clinical pastoral education, mission effectiveness and clinical ethics on all OhioHealth campuses. He is a staff liaison to the Mission/Ministry and Community Needs Committee of the OhioHealth Board of Directors.
Rev. Vesper received a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Kansas and master of Divinity and master of Theology degrees from Duke Divinity School. He also has completed studies at the Graduate Theological Union in association with the Summer School of Theology at Oxford University. He is an ordained elder of the United Methodist Church, a certified supervisor by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education and is board certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains.
Rev. Vesper came to OhioHealth in 1997 from Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he was director of Pastoral Care and Education for 13 years and director of the Medical Social Work Department for five years.
He previously held positions at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Duke University Medical Center and Colby United Methodist Church in Colby, Kansas.
