Meet Mark Seckinger
President, OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital
Mark Seckinger was named president of OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital in April 2015. In this role, he oversees the operations of the hospital, coordinating strategic direction, future development and community healthcare services in southeast Ohio for OhioHealth.
Previously, Mr. Seckinger served as president of OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital. Additionally, he has held various positions at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital, including senior operations officer and vice president of administration. In 1983, Mr. Seckinger was named president and chief executive of Doctors Hospital Nelsonville. He began his career in healthcare at Mercy Hospital in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Mr. Seckinger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology from the College of Engineering of Ohio University.
Raised in Nelsonville, Mr. Seckinger is an advocate for the residents of southeast Ohio. He is active in the community and serves on the boards of the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville and the Athens Foundation.
