At Riverside Methodist, a special inpatient unit called an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit offers patients the security of testing in a specialized hospital setting. This testing is designed to help the patient's doctor decide the cause of the epilepsy seizures.

Video-EEG testing that is part of the diagnostic testing will help determine the best treatment for the patient.
