Doctors Hospital Nelsonville is a member of the OhioHealth not-for-profit, faith-based family of hospitals providing healthcare services to residents of Nelsonville, Ohio, and the surrounding counties. We are a 25-bed, acute care facility with a 24-hour emergency department. Our staff of 62 physicians and more than 180 allied health professionals and associates provide skilled inpatient care to our hospital patients.
Our services include:

Doctors Hospital Nelsonville opened its doors in 1950 as Mount Saint Mary Hospital and acquired the current name in 1980, when the hospital was purchased by Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. We joined OhioHealth in 1988. Doctors Hospital Nelsonville earned the designation of Critical Access Hospital in June 2001 and is fully accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP).
