Media Relations Team Bios

Mark Hopkins

Mark has managed the OhioHealth media relations department since 1998 and worked in healthcare communications since 1991.

His background and education are in broadcast news having graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in journalism. He has produced news shows, talk shows and various special television projects for WSYX-TV (ABC) and WBNS-10TV (CBS) in Columbus, Ohio.

Christina Fitzer

Christina started in the OhioHealth media relations department in June 2005 but has been doing media relations and communications since 1998.

She has quite a diverse background, previously working for the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce, the Ohio Division of Travel and Tourism and a small computer software company.

Christina is a graduate of the University of Dayton, where she majored in public relations.

Missy Gleason

Missy joined the OhioHealth media relations team in December 2009 and is responsible for media relations at Dublin Methodist Hospital and Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Missy comes to OhioHealth with twelve years of experience in television news, having spent those years as the 5pm and 6pm producer for WBNS 10TV in Columbus, Ohio.

Missy is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she majored in broadcast journalism.

Colin Yoder

Colin joined the OhioHealth media relations team in April 2005 and is responsible for media relations at Grant Medical Center, Doctors Hospital, and Westerville Medical Center.

Before joining OhioHealth, Colin served as public affairs officer for the Franklin County Board of Commissioners for five years. He is a graduate of the University of Toledo where he majored in communications and public relations.
