COLUMBUS, Ohio – OhioHealth has hired Rebecca Schmale, PhD, as system vice president of Organizational Development. In this new position, Schmale is responsible for creating the OhioHealth Corporate University by integrating the various educational programs currently in place at OhioHealth and leading organization initiatives in succession planning, leadership development and performance management.
Prior to coming to OhioHealth, Schmale was director of Leadership and Organizational Development at Limited Brands in Columbus. She has also provided organizational development leadership in the manufacturing industry including Eaton Corporation, Panasonic and Standard Register.
Corporation, Panasonic and Standard Register. A graduate of Indiana University, Schmale received a master’s degree in organizational development from Wright State University and a doctorate degree in educational leadership from the University of Dayton.
