To meet the growing needs of our community, we expanded Riverside Methodist Hospital in 2004 to include a new Emergency Services Department and the McConnell Heart Hospital. The expansion is a six-story, free-standing building on the west side of the Riverside campus and is connected to the main hospital on several levels.

The Emergency Department occupies the entire first floor, just seconds away from state-of-the-art heart care for the thousands of heart patients who enter the hospital there every year.
Heart test and treatment labs are on the second floor; private inpatient and outpatient rooms are on the third floor; and physician offices are on the fourth, fifth and sixth floors.
