Maternity Services at Dublin Methodist are designed to meet the unique needs of mothers delivering their babies into the world. Our commitment to the delivery of safe, quality care is the guiding principle of all providers at Dublin Methodist Hospital.
The difference at Dublin Methodist
When you enter our hospital, you will know immediately this is not like any other hospital. In the atrium, you are met with the soothing sounds of the two and a half story, multi-tiered waterfall and seven live Ficus trees dotting the symbolic river stained right into the floor.
You will be greeted by a patient liaison, who will guide you through the registration process and escort you to the labor and delivery area located on the second floor of the hospital.
If a patient liaison is serving another patient, convenient computer kiosks are also available for easy and quick check-in.
Because people respond positively to the natural world, you will see many open spaces filled with sunlight, walls made of stone and colors that soothe. There are located throughout the hospital.
Another thing you will notice is how quiet it is at Dublin Methodist. No overhead paging and special ceiling tiles are used in common to promote a quiet environment. One will also find outdoor courtyards with each unit. Each courtyard has outdoor seating. Patients and visitors can retreat to the outdoors for a touch of natural sunlight and tranquility.
