Screening programs

Free cancer screening
Early detection of cancer can improve survival.

We offer free Cancer Screening for:

  • women, age 21 and older
  • men, age 40 and older

Registration is required. Call the Columbus Cancer Clinic at (614) 263-5006 for dates and time and to make an appointment. This free screening is made possible through a partnership between OhioHealth Cancer Care and the Columbus Cancer Clinic.

ALIC services
Since 1992, OhioHealth Cancer Care has coordinated ALIC services in Ohio as part of an agreement between the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center in West Virginia. This program works to increase public awareness, provide education, increase cancer screening, and promote early detection of breast cancer and cervical cancer to rural, low-income and medically underserved women in Appalachian Ohio.

BEST and BCCP breast programs
To provide additional access to breast and cervical cancer screening for low-income women, OhioHealth has partnered with the American Cancer Society’s BEST (Breast Education and Screening and Treatment) program and the Columbus Health Department’s BCCP (Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention) program since their inception in 1995. Eligibility and scheduling for BCCP:  (614) 645-1836.
