… you shouldn’t have to wait and worry

With OhioHealth’s 13 convenient, neighborhood screening mammogram locations, you’ll find an appointment time to fit your busy schedule. And your mammogram results will be available to your physician, usually within one to two business days.

If your mammogram shows something abnormal, an OhioHealth Breast Health Nurse will call and make an appointment for you to come back for a diagnostic mammogram or ultrasound – which the radiologist will read promptly, usually while you are there.

If further treatment is recommended, your Breast Health Nurse will work with you and your physician to arrange all needed appointments in a timely manner so you can have your answers quickly.

That’s why we offer a Breast Health Multi-Specialty Pre-Treatment Conference and a free Second Opinion Clinic.

At your Pre-Treatment Conference, a team of physicians from five different specialties will review and discuss your individual situation, then make treatment recommendations to your doctor.

If you have questions about your treatment, a different team of expert physicians will volunteer their time to meet with you and your family at our Second Opinion Clinic. They’ll review your care again and answer your questions in person.
