Admission requirements
Salary/benefits
- $38,000 resident stipend yearly
- Waiver of university tuition and fees

Resident responsibilities
- Clinical work commitment every other weekend
- Work one of three summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day or Labor Day)
- Work one of three winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
- Rotate through an administrative on-call system
- Work four night shifts (overnight)
Academic responsibilities
- Majority of didactic work finished in the first year
- Second year is essentially a PGY1 with an emphasis on pharmacy administration
- Completion of Master's project
- Experiential training site for The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy
Residency phases
- First year
- Orientation to the medical center, 4-6 weeks of training in central pharmacy operations, training with decentralized pharmacists, computer order entry, chemotherapy order entry, checking chemotherapy medications, TPN order entry, kinetics, etc.
- Project management: administrative responsibilities (October-June)
- Second year
- Twelve months of administrative and clinical rotations
