When you get pregnant, it's important that you talk with your doctor right away about your health and nutritional needs. It's also important that you schedule regular appointments with your doctor throughout your pregnancy.
You'll need to find a pediatrician for your baby before he or she is born. The pediatrician will provide a newborn checkup of your baby in the hospital after delivery, and will then continue to see your child for a series of preventive health checks during the baby's first years of life.
If you don't have a doctor for you or your baby, we can put you in touch with one. Simply search our Find a Doctor online database or call OhioHealth Physician Referral Service at (614) 4-HEALTH.
